Here’s a list of the most handicapped-accessible beaches here, and some of their amenities, according to the Cape Organization for the Rights of the Disabled. For those in wheelchairs or who have trouble walking, the steep cliffs and uneven surfaces at some can create unwanted obstacles. If you visit Cape Cod or live here, there’s a good chance you’re going to want to stop at at least one beach this summer. If you have trouble walking, don’t worry there are plenty of beaches ready to accommodate any needs. The sand dunes and steep cliffs can sometimes be challenging for individuals on the Cape.
